During the first day of the stay, the Concierge had given my niece some candies. He asked her to drop by each day to collect further sweets.
The following day, my niece was too shy to approach the Concierge for the treats . When she walked past the desk with her grandparents, another team member walked up to her and asked if she was Miss Gaffet. The young girl and the grandparents were caught by surprise and wondered what the matter was. After ascertaining the identity, the employee presented her with a small package of "today's mail".
Inside this envelope was filled with candies.
Imagine the precious smile on the little girl’s face. The elements of surprise and play were simply awesome!
(The fact that this was delivered by the second employee whom the guests had not encountered made it even more special - a demonstration of seamless collaboration and teamwork)
